How to block router/network monitoring/prevent spy?
September 6th, 2007 | by networkrouter |Spunky asked:
Please help, in short i think it IS possible to monitor computers using the network router from the host pc? Yea? If it is, and I have the router password etc how can i prevent the host pc from monitoring the wireless connections?
Thanks for the answer. Ok so as long as i have the ROUTER password(which is admin by default) and change that, it wont be possible to monitor activity? Or could the host just download software bypassing the password?

Well in order to monitor the network for a host pc you will need either 2 things. You will need a software or you will need to log on into your router. So in order to use either of those you will need a password, so my suggestion is to change the password
